Chapter 173: Chill, I Know What To Do
"Deans, it's time…"
Seeing the familiar sequce, Shye and the other represtatives stood up and looked at the two deans, waiting for some sort of words or instructions.
However, they were met with nothing but warm smiles and simple nods.
The deans had nothing to say.
They knew how capable Shye and the others were and trusted that they could deal with any kind of unfavorable situation by themselves.
Thus, with flattered hearts, the Colz represtatives strode out of their academy station and proudly marched towards the main ara.
Upon arriving near the Main Stage, the Colz represtatives were slightly disorited as a loud voice suddly introduced them.
"Here they come, the darkest out of all the horses! Everyone, please give it up for Colz Academy!!"
Thunderous cheers reverberated across the tire ara as almost half of the tire crowd chanted Colz's proud name.
Their popularity seemed to now be on par with the top three academies.
Were they as strong? No one knew for sure.
If they wanted to know, th there's only one way to find out–tune in to their matches.
Meanwhile, Shye and the others momtarily halted, a bit overwhelmed by the amount of atttion they were receiving.
Raging waves of passion and glory rampaged inside their young hearts, compelling them to work harder and strive to be the best versions of themselves.
This was the first time in their lives they ever felt such glory. They loved the feeling. They wanted more.
After suppressing their emotions with much difficulty, the represtative cohort donning the proud but pure colors of and blue carried on.
Arriving at the ringside, the Colz represtatives wer't in the mood to appreciate the most luxurious ringside seats they'd ever se.
All they wanted was to win.
To grab their bright futures with their own hardworking young hands.
Right across them were similarly young faces of equal passion and hot-bloodedness.
Hailing from the promint Bluestone Academy, the young represtatives donned a black and blue uniform.
Unbelievably, these young studts all wore a full set of relics, including their weapons.
'Tch…How the hell did these guys manage to procure such equipmt? Ev Amarantha didn't have a full set…'
Shye pondered, highly doubtful that these young studts provided the relics for themselves.
He was right though.
Most of the relics were provided by Elmer, to increase Bluestone Academy's chances of winning.
Initially, the people of Bluestone Academy were infuriated upon hearing Elmer's offer, thinking that the bastard thought that they would lose against Colz.
However, upon hearing his explanation of why he was doing this, the Bluestone Academy deans allowed the transaction to happ.
After all, win or lose, the studts would retain ownership of the relics.
Elmer was basically giving it to them for free so why refuse?
Not to mtion that if they manage to win, th they will get more rewards.
Seeing that the studts were ready, the referee boldly stepped into the middle of the main stage and pressed the button on the small jar.
Subsequtly, the familiar small blue holographic scre appeared, its words changed at a pace too fast for the human eye before evtually stopping.
"Simulated Survival: (D) ranked - goblin horde (3 represtatives)"
The match type has be decided.
A total of six represtatives–three from each side, shall gage against an dless horde of goblins. Based on the creature rank specified, there would be no (C-) ranked creatures and above.
However, the represtatives were only young advturers.
Ev if goblins were weak, an dless amount of them would spell doom for ev adamantite-ranked advturers so the challge was to see who could survive for a longer period.
Upon seeing the match type, ideas flooded inside the represtatives' minds, compelling them to huddle and strategize.
Kiin, Ian, and Harry, actively voiced out their ideas while Shye and Siegfried were deep in thought.
As usual, zero damns were giv by Wdy.
She simply waited for the guys to decide on a strategy.
The quick brainstorming session was getting intse as Kiin and two others started arguing.
To make matters worse, the Bluestone represtatives were already onstage, smiling mockingly at their indecisive bunch.
Fortunately, like a beacon of light in the crippling darkness, an imaginary light bulb lit up in Shye's head upon remembering something in the past.
He th suppressed his urge to laugh and took a deep breath before oping his mouth to speak with a jolly expression on his face.
"Guys, chill. I know what to do. I guarantee you they'll cry from this."
Hearing how confidt Shye was, the three people who were arguing stopped talking and listed to him with furrowed brows.
"Let me, Siegfried, and Wdy, handle this."
Kiin's brows furrowed ev further upon hearing Shye's plan to include Wdy once again.
He simply couldn't understand the logic behind the captain's decisions.
Just wh Ian and Harry were about to object, Kiin extded his arms and stopped them.
"Alright th," Kiin said. "Your plans, although weird most of the time, have always worked so I shall trust you again."
Hearing what Kiin said, Ian and Harry decided to shut their mouths and trust Shye.
Indeed, Shye's plans had always worked. He also guaranteed their victory so what's the harm in trusting him like they've always done?
They were simply too lost in the sauce of arguing so their judgmt got a bit clouded.
Fortunately, Kiin brought them back to their sses.
"Colz, you have twty seconds to choose your represtatives or I shall disqualify you by default."
Hearing the referee's words, Kiin and the others quickly urged the three chos represtatives to go onstage.
As the three of them ascded, Siegfried noticed Shye trying so hard to suppress a laugh.
"What's the matter?" Siegfried asked with a puzzled expression.
Meanwhile, Shye took a deep breath, looked at Siegfried, and asked:
"Hey Sieg, wanna do something crazy with me?"
A smile appeared on Siegfried's face upon hearing Shye's words.
"Count me in!"
"Nice! List closely, here's the plan…"
