Chapter 63: Horizontal Chop

“Wait...” Blake stopped Qian Jin who was about to leave, threw to him four porcelain bottles and said, “The red ones are filled with vulnerary, and the blue ones can help you recover your warrior energy quickly. After bringing down the beasts, you can peel off their fur and sell them to the village’s tailor for buying vulnerary and Energy Recovering Potion. ”

“Potion that can help me regain warrior energy?” Qian Jin put the Vulneraria into the leather bag hanged around his waist, and looked at the two bottles filled with blue potion in his heated palm in puzzlement and astonishment.

No family kept any record about potions that helped the warriors recover energy, including Elf King Bloodline warriors from Qian Family. The only way to regain warrior energy and power in the shortest time is forming Warrior Energy Recovery Array through a large amount of superior energy stones.

“Are there really potions that can help regain warrior energy?” Qian Jin pondered along the way while holding Zhanmadao in his hand. Alongside the street, he glanced at the pharmaceutics store. If this potion really worked for recovering warrior energy, he would be anxious to master its manufacturing way!

No warrior could be free from injuries! The manufacturing of this medicine is worth learning even for simply handling body injuries.

Qian Jin kept thinking about this along the way, and suddenly he found himself standing at the entrance to the village. Looking out through the entrance gate, he could see an “old acquaintance” who was staring at the village hospitably.

The giant Three-headed Wolf! For the first time, Qian Jin carefully looked at it up and down; it seemed even taller and bigger than Qian Jin had remembered. While standing straight, its height was about four feet, almost half the height of an ordinary person. A long and fat tail trailed the ground, and its six crimson eyes rippled with aggressive force, and several rows of teeth were more than edgy to bite apart one’s bones.

Qian Jin was annoyed from the stare of the Three-headed Wolf. He hadn’t avenged himself on it for last time’s sneak attack, but now it was blatantly standing here outside the village. Did it count on its three heads to defeat the one of Qian Jin?

Clenching the handle of Zhanmadao, Qian Jin felt that the paramount warrior energy of a Level 6 Warrior suddenly transmitted into this sword. On hearing the roaring of his sabre, Qian Jin separated his legs, and bent his body like a bowstring at full draw. As the warrior energy was passed to his soles, Qian Jin abruptly trod on the ground, gathering a shower of dust above from the dry land; and with Zhanmadao trailing behind him, he stepped forward for three steps, each of which reached as far as three meters.

Qian Jin took the lead in fighting with the wolf. He held the two-inch-long handle of Zhanmadao with two hands, and drew a line in the air like a flash of lightning, which sizzled like a sword rubbing in the sand.

Zhanmadao functioned sharp and swift without any delay, meanwhile, Qian Jin showed out compelling gallantry.

The Three-headed Wolf slightly bent its four legs, and tossed its body acutely, trying to escape from Qian Jin’s bash, yet it was too late. The shining bright Zhanmadao chopped down deeply from the middle of the wolf’s head.

Puff! With the chopping of Zhanmadao into the three-headed wolf’s head, the sabre blade reached its coccyx. The wolf’s body was cut through by the sharp sabre, producing a breathtaking atmosphere in the ground!

With a crispy splash, the three-headed wolf’s body was halved. The three scarlet eyes in each half were filled with confusion and astonishment. How could someone who was nearly bitten to death several days ago turn so atrocious today?

“What?” Qian Jin looked at the falling wolf unbelievably and wondered when he became so strong. Was this the might of a Warrior Weapon? Killing a wolf without leaving any bloodstain!?

Even if he didn’t kill the beast with a sabre, Qian Jin was aware that the beast’s body were tough as the weapons. Generally, one could cut down a beast’s bone, yet he would eventually meet an obstruction while chopping.

However, when Qian Jin chopped down with Ji-du, he didn’t feel obstructed at all.

“Is this the power of the Warrior Weapons?” Qian Jin looked at his Zhanmadao, stupefied. “I must become a Forge Master and go to Franklin’s Blacksmith Shop to forge a Warrior Weapon exclusively for myself!”

Suddenly, a dozen grown men in rags holding iron swords and wearing a ferocious expression jumped out of the bush, which was of a man’s height.

Who are they? Before Qian Jin could figure out what was going on, those beastly men, clenching their swords, silently rushed towards Qian Jin.

The man running ahead came to Qian Jin first, brandishing his sword at the latter! Qian Jin agilely yielded the might of his ankle, slid his body to the other side, and succeeded in escaping from this bash. By horizontally wielding his Zhanmadao, Qian Jin axed on the man’s rib, bouncing him away with great power.

Another two men came in. Qian Jin held up his sabre to resist the falling bash from their swords, bent down slightly, and jumped behind. Anxious and doubtful, Qian Jin looked at these people who made up their mind to kill him on their first encounter.

“Ah... will these people end up like the Three-headed Wolf?”

Watching these people attacking him, Qian Jin was lost in thought. The time before last time when he was bitten the wolf, he woke up finding a row of tooth print on his throat. If it was not for the inaccurate biting of the wolf, maybe his neck would have been bitten apart. And what would happen if he was axed by these people? Would he bleed in the head, or would he be directly killed?

“Is this a game or not?” Qian Jin dared not to carelessly behave; he knew there hadn’t been any virtual game like this, though all games provided by Zence Empire were of no danger. God knows whether he could wake up alive or not if he was chopped by these people.

Din-din, dong-dong...

Qian Jin warded off the strikes of some six or seven swords. He screamed out several times, but got no reply. It seemed as if these people were determined to extinguish him.

Killing a wolf was different from killing “people”; the former could be done without psychological burdens as it was killing an animal, but the latter seemed somehow thorny since Qian Jin hadn’t killed any person before.

Puff! Accidentally, Qian Jin’s arm was sliced, making him grimace in pain and feel irrepressibly exasperated. He might be stabbed to death if they kept on chopping!

The ferocious swordsmen intensified their attack upon seeing Qian Jin bleed. Qian Jin came to know why instructor Rodriguez said that the academy could only pass down warrior techniques to its students, instead of shaping them into real warriors! The reason was that killing is prohibited on the campus!

“Oh, damn it!” Qian Jin warded off the two incoming steel knives and growled, “I don’t care whether you are people or beasts; anyone trying to kill me will be knocked down by me!”

A lightning mixed with anger was produced by Qian Jin’s Zhanmadao as it dropped down. Qian Jin faintly shook his wrist as he slightly changed the chopping route of Zhanmadao. The sabre didn’t touch his enemies’ steel knives, rather, it chopped into their wrists directly, moved to their heads, and fell out from their hipbones!
