Chapter 235: Thoroughly Angered

The familiar door appeared in front of Zera’s eyes, as his hands moved towards the knob.

Although cold to the touch, to Zeras it was incredibly warm as he gently unlocked it before entering the room.

It was as beautiful as he left it, everything in its rightful place causing a smile to appear on his sofa.

“Ahhh, Hello my beautiful Sofa!”

“Hello, Table…”

“Hello, wardrobe…”

“Hello V.R set”

“And to my best buddy…”

“Hello, Bed! I missed you all…”

Zeras said almost shedding tears as he jumped in the embrace of his friend.

It was incredibly soft and his bones made crunching sounds of comfort when he slept on it. During the expedition, all he ever slept on was the hard jagged ground and he couldn’t even get a proper sleep, having to make sure one of his eyes was opened.

But now, it was so incredibly soft and he got a feeling of comfort and security he wasn’t sure any place on earth could provide him with.

After sinking on for almost ten minutes, Zeras finally sat up as his eyes turned cold.

“Hey system, can you explain how you tried to get killed then?” Zeras asked gnashing his teeth together in fury.

[Just as formerly explained. It appears the Host body is too weak for the sudden points distribution and slowly tearing apart due to the massive amounts of energy that come from the level up]

“And why where there no prior notification on that? I almost died, exploded to gore!” Zeras screamed out a vein popping on his forehead.

If he had not in that moment of madness jumped out of the spaceship and released the energy into the air by punching as furiously as he could trying to blast out the energy with his punch, then he would have surely exploded. And the system didn’t give him any notification before that as if it wanted him dead.

[– — —]

“And also what do you mean, that point distribution is too high for my current body? CA you explain whatever that means.”

[The highest number of points the Host has formerly distributed is 30. Then, Host distributed 90, not because he was at his weakest due to his last fight.

Also, an important clue was left. As you level up higher and higher you appoint points in your stats. Each was a little more painful than the last. The first time, you couldn’t even sense anything, then you felt a warm object flowing through your body, and then your brain froze for a moment. That should have informed the Host that it would slowly get more and more dangerous.]

“Tch, after improving my intelligence so much. You’re telling me there’s still something that I didn’t pick up?”

[]

“Tch, you better remember this. We’re bonded together, if I die you’re coming with me. So better remember to inform me of any danger next time, got it?” Zeras screamed out, pushing out his triumph card.

[According to the System’s Calculation, the host would have blown up like a star had he allocated 100 points instead of 90]

“What the!!?”

[And also if Host were to blow up. It is the Host that will die! The system will simply look for the closest being to fuse with! However, it would lead to having to start again from the beginning, and might take eons to find another host with such compatibility as yours. The System definitely won’t be dying with the Host]

“Tch, damn system. You want to use me and then dump me…” Zeras mused disapprovingly as he slammed back on the bed.

‘Even if you wished me dead, you’ll be disappointed in the end!’ Zeras thought to himself closing his eyes for a good sleep when suddenly his eyes narrowed.

There was something strange about the room. He was getting a strange feeling, a feeling he was incredibly sensitive to.

Something was watching him!

Yet looking around the room, there was nothing. Nothing was out of place or anything like that, so how come he was getting this feeling?

“Activate the Eyes of Chaos” Immediately the entire environment changed as the entire area grew incredibly careful, the dust and Mana as clear as day and Zeras could even count each of them like counting Star coins.

“Immediately he looked around the room and soon found out what he was looking for.

It was a strange card placed inside one of the five lamp bottles at the top of the wall and close to the ceiling.

Walking towards, Zeras took away the glass covering as he saw the same card, his eyes furrowed to points as he found it incredibly similar.

Immediately, he stretched his hands to the side, looking at the strange black tattoo on his hands, the same as the one on the card.

“Those damn idiots even dared to install a runic camera in my room!!?” Four huge veins popped out of Zera’s head as he sent a mighty punch at the card.

BOOOOM

A devastating explosion rang throughout the place, blowing away everything around him while Zeras himself was immediately sent flying backward, smashing into the wall opposite as his body was lodged into the wall.

“Tch,” With horrific veins on his forehead, he tore out of the wall as he clenched his teeth tightly in anger.

BOOOOM

A kick slammed on the door knocking it off its hinges as Zera’s eyes flashed around the room, looking just below his living room table.

With one flick the the table was flung into the air, the same card revealing itself.

BOOOOM

A punch immediately slammed on the card, and another devastating explosion rocked the entire place as Zeras was immediately sent flying and lodged into the wall once again.

“Tch, not only did they plant cameras they also infused an attack at the Middle Meteor rank stage into them. How kind of them…” Zeras spat out kicking open the door to his Mana Cultivation Room.

Beside the mana generator at the top, it was also cleverly concealed within.

Immediately Zeras jumped up punching furiously at the card as the attack came, smashing him into the pool beneath forming a meter-deep crater on the ground.

Feeling the liquid Mana around him, the coldness managed to cool down his head.

“Leaving three runic cameras in my room without my permission and also infusing in it an attack that would have no doubt reduced me to bones and gores if I was a regular Meteor rank stage. Not only did they impeach my privacy, they also tried to kill me.”

“Hahhahahahhahhahahaahhaha. Don’t worry you all. I’ll make sure to return this gift a thousandfold!”
