Chapter 127 : Drawing A Cake
Royal Capital. Wulleamp District: The Morningstar Family Estate - Inside Felix's Study
In the Royal Capital, within the elegant confines of the Morningstar Family Estate, Felix sat in his study room behind a polished desk, his expression contemplative.
Before him stood Instructor Max, who wore a respectful demeanor that spoke volumes about their relationship.
Felix broke the silence by sliding a piece of paper across the desk. "Here's a list of individuals with talents in various occupations. Keep an eye on them. Of they break through to Tier 1, inform me when it happens."
Instructor Max took the paper, scanning its contents. A flicker of surprise crossed his face before he nodded in acknowledgment.
"So, how do you plan to start their training?" Felix inquired, curiosity piqued.
Max's demeanor shifted to one of seriousness. "We'll begin by strengthening their foundations. Their current physiques are too weak to handle Mana effectively; we need to focus on building up their physical strength first."
"Good," Felix replied, nodding approvingly. "Ensure they receive rigorous training. When the time comes, take them out for some combat experience."
"Understood, Family Head," Instructor Max affirmed with a respectful bow.
With a wave of his hand, Felix dismissed him. As Max exited the study room, Felix was left alone with his thoughts swirling like autumn leaves caught in a breeze.
He glanced at the stack of papers before him, land deeds for prime properties in Wulleamp District.
"System, display the map of Wulleamp District," he commanded.
Instantly, a detailed map materialized before him.
"Highlight our purchased lands," he instructed. Chapter Experience:
Red circles appeared around several locations on the map, each marking some of the wealthiest and most populated areas in Wulleamp District.
Felix studied these marked regions thoughtfully and pointed at five specific areas. "System, construct one 1-Star Restaurant Buildings in each of these four locations and build a 2-Star Restaurant Building in this area."
[ Affirmative Host; construction will be completed within four days ]came the system's prompt response.
A satisfied smile crept onto Felix's face as he closed down the system interface and leaned back in his chair, eyes shut but mind racing with possibilities.
It had been over ten days since launching the Morningstar Project—a bold initiative that they have successfully took in over a thousand homeless, beggers and orphans into the family : beggars and orphans from city streets now offered hope for brighter futures.
Among them were hidden talents waiting to be nurtured; while not all were exceptionally gifted, every bit counted.
As for his hundred instructors? He had rescued them from slavery, captured enemy soldiers sold off by Avalonia Kingdom or taken by slave caravans.
Each of them have their cultivation destroyed after he bought them from the slave market he restored their Cultivation.
According to the system their potential was the highest among the other slaves in the slave market he was in .
Instructor Max is the one with the highest talent among the hundred of them, with 5 Stars Talent and the lowest talent among them is 3 Stars.
All their plans were falling into place, and with enough time, the First Stage of the Morningstar Project promised to catapult them to new heights in strength and status.
Suddenly, Felix snapped his eyes open as the door swung wide, revealing Nixie and Gwendolyn stepping into the study room.
"Oh, you guys are back!" Felix exclaimed, sitting up with a bright smile.
Nixie and Gwendolyn nodded enthusiastically before flopping onto the couches.
"So, how did it go? Was everything smooth sailing?" Felix inquired, curiosity evident in his tone.
"Absolutely! Everything went even better than we expected," Gwendolyn replied with a grin.
"Yeah! We managed to hire twenty Spirit Chefs! But guess what? We were able to hire three 2-Star Spirit Chefs," Nixie chimed in, her excitement bubbling over.
Felix raised an eyebrow in surprise. He hadn't expected Morningstar Restaurant to hire so many chefs in just a few days.
But he quickly understood as the benefits and treatments the Morningstar Restaurant is offering is hard to refuse, no reasonable Spirit Chef would turn down such fantastic conditions.
Turning to his companions, he said, "According to our plan, we need to open Morningstar branches across the entire Kingdom. Honestly, this number of Spirit Chefs you've hired is pitifully low."
Nixie and Gwendolyn exchanged astonished glances.
"Big bro, are you saying you want branches in every city?" Gwendolyn asked incredulously.
Felix grinned and nodded. "Absolutely not just cities, i want to the Morningstar Restaurant Branches in every city and town in the entire Kingdom! You don't think it's possible?"
Gwendolyn shook her head rapidly. "It's not that; I'm just surprised!"
Felix chuckled softly. "Just imagine: Morningstar Restaurants in every city and town throughout Avalonia Kingdom! How grand would that be?"
Both Gwendolyn and Nixie looked dazed as they envisioned the scenario of Morningstar establishments dotting the landscape.
"That would truly be magnificent," Gwendolyn murmured dreamily.
"And think about all the money we'd rake in daily!" Nixie chimed in with stars in her eyes, nearly drooling at the thought.
Felix and Gwendolyn exchanged bemused looks, did Nixie only think about money?
Snapping back to reality, Nixie noticed their stares. "What? Isn't it true? If we have branches all over the Kingdom, the profits will be in a single day is simply unimaginable!"
Felix shook his head with a grin. "Just wipe that drool off your face!"
At this point, money was merely a number for him; what mattered more was increasing his strength, and all the power and authority that came with it.
He continued firmly, "So no slacking off! Keep hiring more Spirit Chefs; for every ten we bring on board, we'll open ten new branches."
"Understood, big bro!" both girls replied earnestly.
"Five restaurants will be completed within four days," Felix added. "And remember our usual routine."
He paused before continuing, "Also send eight 1-Star Spirit Chefs to the remaining twelve cities surrounding Atmos Forest so we can take those cities quickly, the restaurant branches there are already built."
Gwendolyn and Nixie listened intently as Felix laid out his plans.
"I trust you're hiring qualified managers too?" he asked.
"Don't worry about that! In fact, we've hired way more managers than Spirit Chefs so far," Nixie replied confidently.
"Good," Felix smiled approvingly. "Make sure they sign blood oath contracts, if you catch my drift?"
Gwendolyn and Nixie exchanged amused glances as they turned to Felix.
"Big bro, you really can't stand losing, can you?" Gwendolyn chuckled, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
Felix shrugged nonchalantly. "Of course not! I can't have a bunch of greedy little bastards running around. I need guarantees after all," he replied with a casual grin.
Standing up, he opened a drawer and pulled out a hefty stack of papers, handing it over to Gwendolyn and Nixie. "Here, I want you two to start procuring these ingredients listed here. And make sure to get them in huge quantities, don't worry about the price."
As they glanced through the papers, surprise flickered across their faces.
"Big bro, what do you need these ingredients for? They don't look like anything for cooking," Gwendolyn asked curiously.
"You'll find out soon enough," Felix said with an enigmatic chuckle.
Nixie chimed in, "We'll get it done, but some of these are pretty rare and hard to find."
"Take your time; there's no rush. If you run into any trouble, just let me know," Felix reassured them with a nod.
"Okay, big bro!" both girls replied in unison.
"If there's nothing else, you can head back to your tasks now," Felix waved his hand dismissively.
With that, Gwendolyn and Nixie left the study room while Felix settled back into his chair, a slight smile playing on his lips.
A few moments later, there was a knock at the door.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
"Come in!" Felix called lightly.
The door swung open as Wilbert entered the study room.
Since becoming the butler for the Morningstar Family, Wilbert had transformed; he now wore a sharply tailored black suit that exuded professionalism and confidence.
Upon entering, Wilbert bowed respectfully towards Felix. "Family Head."
"At ease, Wilbert," Felix replied warmly as he gestured for him to rise.
Wilbert straightened up but maintained a serious demeanor as he awaited further instructions.
Felix retrieved an impressive blue scroll from his desk and handed it along with a platinum star token to Wilbert. "This is the blueprint I want you to follow. Find the most skilled construction workers in the Royal Capital to bring this vision to life. And take this token, head over to Treasury and secure some funds for purchasing land."
"Understood, Family Head," Wilbert said respectfully as he accepted both items.
Felix continued confidently, "All details regarding the land and requirements are outlined in that blueprint. You're dismissed."
Wilbert bowed once more before exiting the study room with purpose.
Left alone again, Felix sank into deep thought for a moment before breaking into a smile. "Time to get busy!".
