Chapter 13 Earning Billions In Seconds
The arrangements made by the Casinos to stop the use of mana and skills ensured that nobody would be able to cheat in there. This fact of course banked on the assumption that no [SS] ranked individual would be petty enough to cheat in here while hiding his true rank as they could easily earn a ton of money anywhere they go. Of course, if they knew that a [G-] ranked person was able to bypass all of their arrangements by relying on his God-ranked skill, they'd cough out blood after getting depressed about how there was no point in even employing all those enchantments, and permanently ban Asher from entering all the Casinos.
Using his [Divine Eyes], Asher could simply bypass any such restrictions and peep into what cards others had while playing Poker. Other than the slot machines, which were rigged from the very start to only take away your money, Asher was easily able to win any other games possible. This didn't mean that he did actually win every single game, though. Imagine a person going to a Casino and winning everything, people would definitely get suspicious.
Asher went up to the counter, and said "I'll start off small by using a million credits for now, and transferred the amount over".
'Start off by using a million credits cause that's all I have with me HAHAHAHA!', Asher mulled over. He then went on to explore every single game out there he could rig and followed a set rule of winning every 2 games out of 3. He would also bet less when he decided that it was his turn to lose. Through this, in a few hours, the money he now had was not much less than the whole net worth of [A] ranked guilds.
The ranking of guilds was done in a quite simplistic manner. An [A] ranked guild would either have at least 3 [A] ranked members, or 1 [S] ranked individual. Every guild was ranked in a similar manner. This was why there were no [SSS] ranked guilds out there because the only 3 [SSS] rank awakened in the whole world were in separate guilds in the top 3.

[Balance: 36,749,382,000 credits]
While I did earn almost 36 billion credits in a few hours, this wasn't even a small fraction of the wealth possessed by the [Majestic Sphinx]. Not wanting to take any more risks and start making people suspicious, I decided to back off. There was a famous saying, "There is no calamity greater than lavish desires, no greater guilt than discontentment, and no greater disaster than greed..
Of course, this didn't mean I was done for today. Hehehe, I meant I was only done for today in the [Majestic Sphinx]. There were a couple of other Casinos in the [Hidden Twilight] too. I had to raid- *cough* I mean visit all of them to have a look. I've come such a far way from home so I must at least check them out once.
For the next few hours, Asher went through as many Casinos as he could find. At the end of the day, his balance had truly multiplied several-fold making the wealth he possessed almost half of that possessed by [S] ranked guilds. The more money you had, the more money you could bet to earn even more. It might take Asher the same amount of time to go up from a million credits to a billion credits as to go up from a hundred million credits to ten billion.
While Asher earned hundreds of billions in a day, this simply didn't mean that anyone else was also capable of doing the same. Not everyone had a God-ranked skill after all that they'd use to chea- *cough* I mean assist them in Casinos.
This wasn't a feat that could be replicated by just anyone, and if it was someone other than Asher, they'd probably have lost all their money instead. Moreover, we also had to consider the fact that even if someone else had a God-ranked skill, they might not be able to contain their greed and go off to bite more than they could chew. It would surely land them in some big trouble if they were caught.

"Looks like I earned a bit too much today, eh? Now, where should I spend this much?"
It turned out that even Asher hadn't expected to earn hundreds of billions in a single day.
"I might not even have to short the stocks of that company anymore, I already have a lot. Of course, you can never have enough money though."
Now rich, Asher decided to go through the stalls in the [Hidden Twilight], each of which was displaying items that started off from the base price of a few million credits. The first thing Asher decided to buy was a [Spatial Storage ring]. This was an artifact that let an Awakened store several items in a separate space that could only be accessed through the ring itself. Any items stored in the ring would have no effect on the weight of the ring itself, thus making it super easy to carry items.
While going through the stalls, Asher found an inconspicuous-looking storage ring with a 6 cubic-meter space within that cost him several billion credits. Asher was satisfied with this because the ring wouldn't attract the attention of anyone. The norm was that the better the spatial ring was, the fancier it would look. One must know not to incite the greed of others. An inconspicuous-looking ring such as the one he was wearing could pass off as a normal ring unless closely inspected at close range.
The next thing that Asher decided to do was to buy several potions. Potions were also ranked in the same way as Artifacts and their uses varied vastly, from those that could heal wounds and regenerate limbs to potions that could temporarily boost one's strength and agility and even those that could help one break through their realms faster.
Having decided his next destination, Asher headed over to the [Alchemist's Emporium] which was simply a secret sub-branch in the [Hidden Twilight] of the biggest alchemist organization in Athanasia, the [Arcane Elixir].
