Chapter 1314: Many Other Dominions

When Li Luo entered the Treasure Domain, he could feel that the entire world seemed to have turned dark and if he looked into the distance, it seemed as though all sorts of strange structures could be seen in the distance and there were vague figures moving amidst it. However, just as he tried to inspect things more carefully, it would vanish into thin air as though it was all part of his imagination.

Space continued to ripple, giving one an illusory and unsettling feeling.

The entire area was filled with a cold and sticky atmosphere. Even worldly natural energy had to be refined before it could be absorbed into the body.

Whispers continuously inundated the group, attempting to invade their hearts and negative emotions swelled up.

"This is the World End's River Treasure Domain. The corruption here is also much denser than the outside." Li Qingpeng explained. At this point he was standing at the front of the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li's squad and he was frowning. With his eighth-grade Duke stage abilities, he could keenly sense how ferocious the corruption truly was.

"Even the number of Other Dominions have increased in number." Li Jiluo had produced a bronze mirror at this point. Groups of scarlet vortex lights of different sizes could be seen on it and were scattered everywhere.

Li Luo and the rest similarly took out identical mirrors. These were Dominion Scouters and they were able to identify the location of Other Dominions within the Treasure Domain. As there were many mighty Others within, they would also choose to gather in specific areas and with the dense corruption present, Other Dominions would form in all shapes and sizes. At the same time, they had to be built in areas where worldly natural energy was concentrated and thus Foundational Spirit Treasures would be found there as well.

Thus regardless if the aim was to purge the Others or to obtain Foundational Spirit Treasures, these Other Dominions were locations that had to be visited.

At this point, the Dominion Scouter in their hands would provide them with a direction to head in.

"The Other Dominions are separated into three tiers. The large ones are located deep in the Treasure Domain and are the biggest balls of light. The smallest ones are in the perimeter with the middle sized ones in between." Li Foluo explained to Li Luo, Jiang Qing'e and Li Hongyou.

"The highest tier Other Dominions contain Others of fiendish strength. However the number of Foundational Spirit Treasures would also be the greatest there. Top grade ones can only be found there as well."

Li Luo understood it immediately. In fact, he had explored an even more terrifying place in the past, specifically the Fifth Minor Earthly Branch Realm. The All-Beings Devil King had caused his All-Being Ghostly Skin Dominion to descend and even though it was only a projection, it was capable of enveloping the entire world space and it was hard to imagine just how much more terrifying the actual dominion was.

It was likely that even a high grade Duke wouldn't be able to walk out alive after they entered.

Compared to that, the Other Dominions here would be insignificant in comparison.

"The truth is that whenever the World End's River Treasure Domain opens, our mission would be to destroy as many of these Other Dominions as possible. Especially the large ones. They must be eradicated otherwise when the Stygian Rain of Calamity falls, their strength would also receive a boost and a King might be born. This is something that cannot happen at all costs." Li Foluo explained with a solemn expression.

Li Luo's gaze turned serious. "What happens if a King is born here?"

"If an Other King appears, it would be able to suppress the Four Heavenly Emperors' Sealing Talisman and once its destroyed, the corruption within this space will erupt with deadly force and with the Stygian Rain of Calamity, it will become a landing ground for the arrival of even more Others and possibly additional Other Devil Kings. At that point in time, the entire World End's River Region would be lost and the Others would have a direct path to the Heavenly Origin Divine Continent, creating indescribably horrifying Other Disasters to descend towards us." Li Foluo explained glumly.

Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e's expressions turned heavy as well. They had seen an Other Disaster erupt within the Xia Kingdom and it had changed the entire geography of their home. Clearly the Other Disasters encountered from the World End's River Region would be on a different scale compared to the one at Xia Kingdom.

These Other Devil Kings were creatures that were capable of competing against Triple Crowned Kings.

Thus the opening of the World End's River Treasure Domain was like mowing grass. The numerous powers would send their strongest squads to get rid of Other Dominions in all shapes and sizes, preventing the Stygian Rain of Calamity from becoming even more dangerous and destroying the Four Heavenly Emperor's Sealing Talisman.

Thus they allowed other powers and rogue cultivators to enter, all for the purpose of taking advantage of their strength to purge the place cleanly.

Additionally, everyone wanted to obtain Foundational Spirit Treasures and only by getting rid of these Other Dominions could they obtain the treasures.

These treasure hunters should all be aware of the situation but were still willing thugs. After all, at the end of the day, only Foundational Spirit Treasures mattered.

To Dukes, these treasures were a necessity. However the price of buying them was extraordinarily high and if one just relied on purchasing them, the average rogue cultivator simply couldn't afford it. Thus the only opportunity to obtain one with their strength was precisely the World End's River Treasure Domain.

People dying for treasures was an unavoidable fate.

Even the likes of Li Luo chose to enter the Treasure Domain, all for the sake of Foundational Spirit Treasures as well! The only difference was that he had a wild heart and whilst most Dukes only hoped for a high grade Foundational Spirit Treasure, he wanted one that was top grade.

Based on what Li Foluo said, the top grade ones only appeared in the large Other Dominions and these places were rife with danger. Even Li Foluo himself, a fourth-grade Duke would find himself in peril in those locations.

Thus he could only take things step by step.

Li Luo didn't harbor any hopes that he would immediately find one upon entering the Treasure Domain. That wasn't realistic and even numerous high grade Dukes were looking to obtain one as well. Having to compete with them was already an almost impossible task. He continued to inspect the Dominion Scouter as he looked at the numerous scarlet vortexes on it. It only provided a vague direction to move in but he was predominantly focused upon the area in the depths of the Treasure Domain. The large Other Dominions represented by the scarlet vortexes were like cold eyes looking back at him through the mirror.

"Eh?" Li Luo suddenly exclaimed. He could suddenly see that in the depths of the Treasure Domain, one of the scarlet vortex lights representing a large Other Dominion had become increasingly bright. Its size seemed to expand and another large Other Dominion next to it was quickly torn apart and devoured.

Other Dominions were capable of consuming each other?

Li Luo was taken aback. Was this normal?

At this point, a terrifying wave of corruption burst out from the depths. In just a few moments, it had spread throughout the entire Treasure Domain.

At the same time, the void seemed to distort and from afar, it was as if countless ancient structures began to take form in the void, resembling towns and altars. At the same time, the numerous Others seemed to have been shocked awake.

The previously gloomy and quiet domain had suddenly come to life.

At this point, Li Jiluo and Li Qingpeng as well as the other high grade Dukes had noticed this disturbance. Their expressions changed as they could feel incredible strong emanations of corruption coming from the depths of the World End's River Region.

Even they could feel a sense of pressure.

"A large Other Dominion has taken the initiative to devour a nearby Other Dominion. I'm afraid the Others are planning to take this opportunity to evolve." Li Jiluo was glumly staring at the mirror in his hand, specifically the spot where the Other Dominion was swiftly expanding.

"It's a little strange that the Other Dominion is capable of devouring the other. This has never happened before." Li Qingpeng commented in surprise.

"Regardless of the situation, we cannot let it continue as it is. We have to cleanse this Other Dominion first. Additionally, it may also contain top grade Foundational Spirit Treasures like the Nine Marks Sacred Heart Lotus." Li Jiluo spoke decisively.

At this point, even Li Jiluo had a look of desire in his eyes. He was originally determined to obtain the Nine Marks Sacred Heart Lotus but unfortunately, Li Jingzhe had seized it in the end which caused him endless regret.

Li Qingpeng lightly nodded his head. He had never expected that such a development would occur upon entering the World End's River Treasure Domain.

This transformed Other Dominion would definitely be riddled with danger but also held fatal temptation towards high grade Dukes like them.

"It looks like we have to change our plans. We have no time to slowly push ahead. We will organize our strongest forces to forcefully breakthrough the obstructions and lead the charge in order to reach the depths quickly." Li Qingpeng sighed.

Based on their original plans, they would organize the squad to advance from the outside to the depths methodically. They would sweep away all Other Dominions in their path. However with this new change in the situation, their peak experts would act as sharp knives, cutting into the depths to resolve the issue of this strange Other Dominion.

However this would also mean that the squad would be split into two.

As the strongest experts slaughtered their way into the depths, the weaker ones would stick with the original plan, slowly clearing out the Other Dominions from the perimeter.

This was because the Treasure Domain was riddled with Other Dominions and the corruption formed a sort of sealing barrier from penetrating deeper easily. Even sixth-grade Dukes couldn't force their way through.

Moreover, medium sized Other Dominions also contained large amounts of Foundational Spirit Treasure and that also included high grade ones. This was a considerable amount of resources which they couldn't easily let go.

Li Jiluo and Li Qingpeng, the two leaders quickly reached a resolution. The others could only look at each other and obey the orders. After all, they could see the terrifying fluctuations of corruption and even the rogue cultivators were beginning to take swift action.

Everyone knew that this change to the large Other Dominion meant incredible opportunities.

Being able to obtain a top grade Foundational Spirit Treasure would allow their stagnant cultivation to once again take a step forward.

Li Luo was filled with envy. Such an opportunity excited him but he also understood that even the Guardian Generals didn't qualify to enter that elite group.

Thus he could only stay behind with the group that advanced forward slowly.

Getting some high grade Foundational Spirit Treasures to start wouldn't be bad either. He could eventually exchange a few for a top grade one.

This was how he consoled himself.

Furthermore a large sized Other Dominion was not easy to take down. Perhaps they might be unsuccessful and miss the opportunities within. With this in mind, he relaxed slightly.
