"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THIS MEANS AND HOW IT WILL CHANGE THE WHOLE COMBAT DYNAMIC?" Sarah continued to shout. 

"Woah calm down girl, chill chill." Vulxis said to try and calm her friend down." 

"You go chill, just the creation of this stat means that all spell casters like me who like to keep our opponents at range will have to work harder to do that, while melee classes like you will find it easier to close the gap on us." Sarah explained with indignation. 

"How so? Can't spell casters still cast while moving?" John asked since he had done that in the past. 

"You're only half right." Sarah said with a sigh before explaining. 

"While at lower levels like ours this dexterity stat won't make much of a difference since everyone's stat points are still similar, at the higher levels the gap will widen however and the difference will become more obvious." 

"Also, while casters like me can move while channeling or charging a spell we still move slightly slower because of the actions we have to make when casting, at higher levels though casters unlock spells that need them to remain stationary to cast." 

"Now with the implementation of this dexterity stat melee classes will be able to reach us a whole lot faster than before while we channel these spells." 

"Ohhhh." John and Vulxis said in realization." 

"I honestly suggest you don't reveal your name for this announcement, after all the person responsible for the creation of this stat is about to make an enemy out of every caster player in the world." Sarah said seriously, making John gulp before he said. 

"No."

[A new stat has been created for Genesis because of the actions of a player.] 

[The new stat is named Dexterity (DEX)] 

[Dexterity (DEX): Determines an individual's speed in Genesis, the higher the stat the faster they can move.] 

[Race starting stats will be updated with the new stat.] 

[Individual stat updates will be sent to all players showing the new stat and the appropriate number of points in that stat based on your level and the number of points each stat has gained on level up since you stated Genesis.] 

[GENESIS WORLD ANNOUNCEMENT] 

[Congratulations to ******** for successfully becoming the first player in Genesis to be responsible for the creation of a whole new stat type.] 

[They will receive the following rewards:] 

[1 Additional Class Stat Point increase to DEX stat each level]

Both notifications were sent out to every Genesis player in the game as well as to the access bands of those who were not. 

When the announcement was heard the world seemed to turn silent for a moment as everyone processed the news before it sunk in and everyone went nuts. 

Those who were not in Genesis at the time logged in as soon as they could to see how many points they had in the new dexterity stat. 

The Genesis News network as well as all other media outlets ordered their employees to find out who it was that caused the creation of a new stat and also how they managed it. They saw this news as just as important as the race change Blue Ice Queen achieved recently because this affected everyone. 

The leaders of all the different races held emergency meetings to discuss how this would change any future plans they had and also if it gave them an advantage or disadvantage against their rivals.

"What the fuck, fifty-four dexterity?" John said in shock. 

"Seriously, why is yours so high?" Vulxis asked in surprise as Sarah also showed surprise. 

"I guess it's because of the reward, I gain one extra stat point in dexterity each level up, so if that takes into account all the levels I gained since I started playing that would make sense." John explained before asking. 

"Why what are yours at?" 

"Mine's at thirty-six." Sarah replied. 

"Mine is twenty-one, Sarah's I understand because she had her broken rebirth and gets double starting stat points and one extra point in each stat on level up from the start plus an extra twenty percent to her stats." Vulxis stated 

"Wait, you get double starting stat points from the start plus one extra per level up per stat and a twenty percent bonus from your rebirth?" John interrupted in shock.

Sarah nodded with a proud look on her face. 

"Shit, if that Daniel knew he would probably commit suicide from his fuck up." John commented offhandedly. 

"I can only hope." Sarah said with a vicious smile. 

"The Genesis news network said you also received two titles and a legendary necklace, I know what the title 'First in the world' does, but can I ask what the other title and necklace gave you?" John asked. 

"The title I'm not sure about it's a mystery, but the necklace is very nice here take a look." Sarah said before waving her hand and showing the details.

"Holy.... but what does it mean by new gear levels and additional stats?" John asked after being surprised at the description. 

"As you probably know, gear upgrades every five levels in Genesis." Sarah began to explain as John nodded before she continued. 

"However, as gear increases new stats are unlocked on the gear, for example level five and upwards gear gives you either an attack power buff if it's a weapon or a defense buff if its armor, however it also gives a bonus to one stat such as intellect." 

"When we reach the level twenty gear upgrade a second bonus stat will be available on gear, so then you may get intellect and wisdom for example." 

"Then as you level higher and upgrade gear more stats become available." 

"Ah ok, thanks." John said with a smile that Sarah returned. 

"Yeah, yeah that's great and all but that still does not explain why you have so many stat points and I can't inspect your stats either." Vulxis started as she remembered to ask about John's stats and why she could not see them. 

"In regards to hiding my stats, it's an ability my Mantle has." John stated before continuing.

"As for why my stats are so high, normally I would not be willing to reveal this without talking to Alea or her mother since they helped me discover this but since you are such close friend with her, I will explain." John said before continuing. 

"So, I assume you know about the weapon training you can do in the weapon hall?" John asked. 

Both women nodded before Vulxis said. 

"Yeah, though I don't know why anyone does it, all that effort and time for apparently only a one percent increase." 

John smiled before saying. 

"Actually, that's where you are wrong, it's not one percent but ten." 

"What really?" Vulxis said with surprise. 

"Yeah, and that's not the big secret...." 

After which John went on to tell them how he helped Alea's family research training in all weapon types in the weapons hall and the reward he got for completing it all. 

After John finished his explanation Vulxis and Sarah showed thoughtful expressions as they considered this news before Sarah spoke. 

"While this information is not very useful to us since it is not worth us dying so many times since we will lose a level and the stats, it is very useful to new members of our race coming into Genesis." 

Vulxis nodded in agreement before saying. 

"That's true this could help our races tremendously in the future, do you mind if we share this information without races John since you found it?" 

"Personally, I don't mind however I suggest you speak to Alea about this as it's not only my secret, also I will give you the same warning I gave Alea and her family, if you do reveal this information to others make sure you're careful about who you tell." John replied. 

Both girls nodded before saying. 

"Thank you." 

"We will be sure to be careful who we tell this information to if Alea agrees of course, if she does, we will both also owe you a huge favor." Sarah added. 

John shook his hand before saying. 

"Don't worry about it, we are friends after all." 

"Hey bro we gonna finish this bonding or not?" Bandit suddenly said, making John turn to look at him. 

As he turned John did not see the look both girls gave him.
