"Yes, but I'm not the guilty one," the man said gently.

"What do you mean?" James asked curiously.

"That man had a very dark soul, he was a disgusting being who had killed many people, raped many women and men, and I needed his life energy, so both humanity and us won." the man said calmly.

James shook his head in bewilderment after these words and asked "What?" as if he could not understand.

"There is nothing to understand young man, unlike you, that man's soul was dark, not the darkest I have ever seen, but it was dark." the man said, and with these words, the man's hands began to glow.
